Here is our week with The Sun: -
- Monday afternoon with all the MP expenses scandal still in the air, we decided to create a viral game to reflect the mood of the nation. By the end of the day we had the concept and some rough screen shots.
- Tuesday we approached a number of national newspapers to see if they were interested in running the game.
- Tuesday afternoon we had a live demo for editors to play and circulated to digital editors.
- Tuesday close of play, Danny Rogers at The Sun had agreed to run the game.
- Wednesday we created splash screens and began the editorial review with The Sun.
- Wednesday - A number of content changes and additions were made all competed within an hour of the requests.
- Wednesday - Tracking codes were embedded within the core code and the production game released.
- Thursday AM - Last minute Editorial changes were again requested. Changes completed by lunchtime.
- Thursday 15:00 - Game released on the home page of TheSun.co.uk
